Hi👋, Diana Tran here!

I’m a UX Researcher and Designer from San Francisco.

My Experience

I’ve consulted for a number of companies internationally, offering my services in research & strategy (usability testing) and design solutions. Performing research, presenting case studies, and discussing potential solutions for design to enhance user’s experience and help companies grow. Furthermore, I have 8 years of experience in UI Design, specializing in e-commerce for both start-ups and major retailers.

Research & Strategy

Plan, conduct, and analyze findings from a variety of research methods like user testing and analytical research.

Information Architecture

Organizing information for websites, apps, and software to make it easier to understand for the users. Such information includes content, labeling, navigation, and search functions.

Personal Development

Develop archetypical users whose goals and characteristics represent the needs of a larger group of users.

Design: Wireframe & Prototype

First phase of design is to provide blueprint for each screen of an interface then will move into mid-fi and hi-fi designs.

My Clients

Reimagining YourSuper’s Account Experience.

I was given a special project to help explore what were the pattern-like painpoints active users were experiencing while trying to edit their subscription or account. From there, it was my role to report all findings and offer design solutions to YourSuper.

Clare.com’s offering swatches for purchase.

Clare’s making it easier for their customers to try out their paint before committing to purchase entire gallons, but the problem they were running is making the “buying process” more accessible and intuitive for the users.

Old Navy’s UI/Visual Designs.

As the Lead Designer for kids department at Old Navy Online, here are some examples of my designs for Kid’s Back to School campaign ranging from UI to designs for ads.

Optimizing Link Management Experience.

Linkhawk is a link management service provider based in Germany. My role of a UX Research was to provide insight and suggestions to make design more efficient and intuitive for the users.

I’d love to chat more about your research and design needs.
